How It Works

Occasionally, a finished piece becomes available to buy immediately, no long lead time, just the same hand-built quality, ready for nationwide delivery.

Ready-to-buy pieces come about a few different ways, sometimes a piece is built specifically to photograph a design properly, and sometimes a prototype gets it right first time, and the physical piece needs a home while the design itself joins our made-to-order collection.

These are one-off pieces, so once they're gone, they're gone. If you don't see what you're looking for, made-to-order or a full bespoke commission lets you specify a piece from scratch instead.

What Makes It Different

Nothing about buying ready-made means a lower bar, every piece is held to the same standard as a full commission, solid British hardwood, sourced from British sawmills wherever possible, built using the same combination of precision machinery and hand-finishing used throughout the workshop.

It simply means the piece already exists rather than waiting to be built, fully finished and shipped from our workshop between Bristol and Bath.

Can I still request changes to a ready-to-buy piece?
These are sold as shown, but small details like leg finish or fabric can sometimes still be discussed before dispatch.

What if the piece I want has already sold?
One-off pieces don't get remade once sold, but the same design is often available through made-to-order.

How is it delivered?
Delivery is arranged directly once your order is confirmed, with both standard courier and white-glove options available depending on your address and budget.
